Farm is located 3 hours north of Sydney, close to the
beaches of Forster Tuncurry and in the beautiful Manning
Valley... and we're into all sorts of
things!
Variety is the spice of life and you're welcome to join us
on our adventure!
Enjoy our Farm Balm natural moisturiser and our home-milked
and hand-made goats milk soap, our handspun award-winning honey
and solar melted beeswax natural lip balms, and natural insect
repellent at local farmers markets or online at www.madeit.com.au/HoneycombValleyFarm.
Visit us by appointment with your bus group for a great
lunch and tour, or join us for a stay at our fun family farmstay (we have two
family-friendly cottages, solar heated pool, pedal boats on
the dam, cosy combustion fires and the friendliest animals
in NSW). We have kids too, so there's plenty of fun to be
had. Our farmstay has won the 2010 North Coast Tourism
Awards for Excellence in the hosted accommodation
section.
If it's small farming or self sufficiency you're into, we
offer one-on-one mentoring in all sorts of areas including
beekeeping courses and breadbaking
courses (sweet breads, flat breads, sourdoughs and
more!).
If you're looking at stocking your farm with top quality
animals, we are proud to be a breeder of registered miniature
galloway cows, registered dorper sheep, registered Saanen
goats, registered Suri alpacas and our all-time-favourite
chickens: araucana's (the blue/green egg layer) and light
sussex chickens. We also have cute bunnies for sale...they're
miniature cashmere lop eared rabbits.
We're also into solar cooking, and sell the small
family-size Sun Oven we use whenever
the sun is shining, and we're also the importers of the
Villager Sun Oven...the largest commercial
solar oven appliance in the world.
Hmmm...what else are we into? Non-toxic stainless steel drink bottles,
stainless steel lunchboxes and
cooperative board games! oh yeh...and good
company, great food, close community, learning new skills
and enjoying ourselves.
