About Our NSW Farmstay
A NSW Farmstay that is AWARD-WINNING. UNIQUE. FUN. EDUCATIONAL. HANDS-ON. FRIENDLY. A MEMORABLE HOLIDAY FOR A FAMILY & COUPLES INTERESTED IN ANIMALS, PLANTS & SUSTAINABILITY.
Hi there and welcome! We're
really proud to have won Gold for Best Hosted Accommodation at the North Coast Tourism Awards for 3 years running (2010, 2011, 2012) for our NSW family farmstay. We've also been a Finalist at the NSW State Awards (2010, 2011 and 2012) coming home with the State Bronze in 2010 and 2012. But we're prouder of the fact that over the years running the farmstay we've been able to give people like you really fab family holidays and experiences. Many of our guests we now call friends.
At Honeycomb Valley we offer a fun, hosted farm stay holiday on our 90 acre family farm. Here things change with the seasons and each day is different. It's a hands-on farmstay holiday where you can become involved as much or as little as you like.
Your hosts are the Campbell family. There are five of us in total: grown-ups
Andrew & Anna, and three young munchkins (aka hosts and friends to your kids). In addition to us humans, there's a farm yard of animals to get to know during your stay.
This isn't a farmstay where you get plonked in a cottage and are left to twiddle your thumbs (though you can do that if you like!), there are activities here morning and afternoon that you are welcome to join with us on. From animal feeding to goat milking, a hand-led pony ride to bottle-feeding baby lambs, feeding the chooks and collecting eggs, grooming alpacas, fixing fences, spinning honey, gardening and plenty more. Or maybe you just want to lounge by the solar heated pool, gaze into a campfire or take the pedalboats out for a spin on the dam!
Our aim is to offer you a home away from home. A place where you can enjoy the outdoors and animals together. A place, where you can ask questions about farm life, farm animals and tree changing and all things animal and vegetable. A place we hope you'll have fond memories of for a long time to come!
Hope we get to meet you soon! To read a little more about our NSW farmstay, check us out on Trip Advisor, read our guest comments, or click on the cover of the story book below, and to turn the page, keep on clicking. Enjoy.
