Here are just a few comments we received from our Farmstay guests in 2011. We're a NSW farmstay, offer great holidays with kids and for grown-ups, and we hope you get to visit our family farm soon too:

Dear Anna and Andrew (and all the others both children and animals!!) We all had such a lovely week at Honeycomb Valley that it is hard to put into words. There is a really positive feeling that comes from everything there at the farm and it is infectious. I swear even the chickens smile!
It is hard to come back to the city, let me tell you!!! We loved sharing our grandchildren's special holiday place. Such a great experience of being part of the simple rhythmns of life. Kids and big kids had a ball - thank you for giving your time so happily. Marilyn and Paul

Thank you for our beautiful holiday at the farm. (From Sophie Conna April 2011)
Day 1- we arrived on Tuesday and I made friends with the other guest Joy and once again with Josie, Zac and Darcy. We played in the cubby house made of tyres and cardboard.
Day 2 – we fed the animals in the morning, we also went to the tyre swing and paddle boats. We caught lilies. We also had a ride on the back of the quadbike and a bonfire (the marshmallows were eaten quickly)
Day 3 – Just woke up out of our bunk beds. About to go and play with the kids and Tashi the guinea pig. Then we went horse riding. I rode Hollywood & Cindy. I had a great time. Then I lost my earring, we all had a look for it but did not succeed.
Day 4 – Today is our last day. What a great holiday.

Thank you for our stay at the farm we had the time of our lives! (From Kye Conna April 2011)
Day 1 – Today we arrived at Honeycomb Valley Farm Stay. We hopped out of the car and straight away saw our friends (we’ve been here before) Josie, Zac and Darcy as well as Anna and Andrew. Then we went to round up the animals for that afternoon.
Day 2 – Today we went to feed the chickens and the animals in the morning. Afterwards we went to the tyre swing and had lots of swings and I went the highest at about 10 metres high. Next we went paddle boating and quadbiking but my hat fell off and I had to run the rest of the way from the tyre swing. After we had a big game of football then went for a swim in the pool to cool off. Then we had fed the animals and had a campfire.
Day 3 – Today I wrestled my first sheep. Then we got out the goats and I brought the biggest goat Harley out of the shed. Next I rode a massive horse named Hollywood and watched Darcy break in Cody the pony. Next we went to Forster, came back to Nabiac skate park where I went for a skateboard. After we came back and went for a swim. After we had a massive bonfire and we had chocolate and marshmallow s’mores. It was the BEST!!
Day 4 – Today is our last day, we’re about to go out and feed the animals.

Wow – it was a wonderful few days with our granddaughters Bronte & Keira. They had a great time and loved the whole “hands on” bit. Andrew was so good with the girls and couldn’t do enough to make our stay fantastic. Kiera our youngest is renowned for not being able to get to sleep – she tried Anna’s ‘sleep balm’ and went to sleep every night with amazing ease, happy bunny! The accommodation was very comfortable with nice little touches thought out such as torch, great eggs, supply of tea, coffee, good bedding etc etc. Thank you again and best of luck with future projects on the farm.

This was by far one of the most relaxing holidays we have had…the kids were fantastic with our boys the triplets! Thank you for a wonderful stay. How great to be part of your farm lifem to cuddle bunnies, collect eggs, bake cookies in the solar oven and see how honey is made. Walking straight into the shearing of the lambs and alpacas was a great experience, but playing with your 3 "dogs" Gigi, Gwendolyn & Panda will probably be the lasting memory for our kids. These memories will all stay with us for a long time. Our family have had a relaxing holiday without the hustle and bustle! Our three boys have stated that this is their best holiday ever. When asked whether they'd like to go to Dreamworld at QLD they said "No way, this is much better!". It was really cool swinging about 20 feet off the ground in the tire swing and being able to explore. I found the billabong absolutely amazing and I got filthy! I love Blaze the orphaned calf and feeding him his giant bottle was magic. I also loved the bees and the honey they made was the best honey in the world! What can we say but thanks! We had the best time. The boys had a ball and of course did not want to leave. We loved everything about the farm: quadbike riding, tyre swing, pedal boats, feeding the animals, riding Hollywood. Delivery of the tractor was exciting and Blake loved his job of letting the chickens out in the morning and rounding them up at night. Farmer Andrew was superb with the boys - so patient. Despite the rain which made fantastic mud for the boys to run, jump, fall and splash in, we've had an exceptional time with the perfect host family. The best thing about our holiday has been finding this small patch of paradise.

For an 8 year old who didn't want to go to a farm, he now doesn't want to leave! The electric fence was a big hit! Not to mention Brutus the guard alpaca. I can hear Ryley yelling out "Brutus, Hello Brutus". Loved the quadbike and tractor rides, feeding the alpacas, chickens, horses, ponies, peacocks and Mum's favourite, the goats...did we miss anyone? After the initial shock of no Playstation we settled in and had a wonderful "family" holiday. Thanks so very much!

We had a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location. Our children will have fond memories of feeding the animals, quadbiking, mulberry picking, searching for the lost goats and playing with your kids (and who can't forget all that marshmallow toasting!).
